Jonathan completed Seton Hall University’s intensive six-year dual-degree physician assistant (PA) program, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During his clinical training, he developed a strong interest in dermatology, where his sharp visual memory and gentle, steady approach to procedures quickly set him apart.
After graduation, he expanded his knowledge by completing the rigorous Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate Fellowship, widely regarded as the premier advanced training program for PAs in dermatology. He then joined the inaugural group of PAs to earn the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Dermatology (CAQ-Derm), a credential that highlights his advanced clinical knowledge, extensive experience, and commitment to exceptional patient care. His pursuit of excellence most recently brought him to the Cleveland Clinic, where he was selected to serve as a leader for all Dermatology Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
Jonathan returns to the DFW area with a proven record of high patient satisfaction and a commitment to expanding access to medical dermatologic care. His organized, thorough approach—combined with support from his medical assistants—helps ensure that every patient receives timely, high quality care. With thousands of conditions to know in medical dermatology, Jonathan will be collaborating with Dr. McGuiness and the rest of the medical, surgical, and cosmetic team to provide comprehensive dermatologic care.
