What Is Excel V?
The Excel V laser uses green light to treat veins, employing both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. The light targets blood pigment, turning it into heat that collapses vein walls.
Once the vein collapses, your body naturally redirects the blood flow to healthy veins with no adverse side effects. While this treatment permanently destroys problematic veins, it can’t prevent new ones from forming.
What Can Excel V Treat?
Excel V laser treatment can improve the following skin and vascular conditions:
- Rosacea – a chronic skin condition that causes facial redness, a burning sensation, acne-like bumps and pimples, itching, and more.
- Spider Veins – harmless, damaged blood vessels that appear in a weblike pattern in shades of blue, red, or purple.
