Rosacea is a long-term skin condition where blood vessels in the face become enlarged. Often, this condition is the underlying cause of visible facial veins and redness.
Symptoms of rosacea include:
- Facial redness
- Acne-like pimples
- Watery, irritated eyes
The enlarged blood vessels that cause Rosacea can appear on the face, specifically on the cheeks, nose, or chin. Severe rosacea may lead to a bulbous or bumpy nose from tissue buildup. Rosacea can affect all skin types but people who tend to flush or blush easily can be at a higher risk. Even though there is no known cure for rosacea, our laser vein treatment can help moderate the symptoms and improve skin.
The most common ages to develop rosacea are between 30 and 50. During your consultation, your provider will examine your skin for rosacea along with any other concerns that laser vein treatment can help with.
